LEARN TO SURF

During the Paternoster Beach Festival we will host 2-3, 1 hour learn to surf sessions for 5 pax on the 6^th and 7^th of December with a small competition for 20pax on the 8^th.

The learn to surf sessions will be priced at R300pp and will include a wetsuit and surf board, a surf coach for 1 hour and drone footage of the session that will be available on YouTube. The competition entry fee will be R150pp with a small R1000 and R500 cash prize for the winner and runner up.

COMPETITION

20 surfers who participated in the learn to surf sessions will surf in round 1 in 4 heats of 20 min with 5 surfers, the winner of each heat will move to Round 3, the remainder of the surfers will surf again in Round 2. The winners of Round 2 will move to round 3 with the losers eliminated. Round 3 the Semifinal will consist of 2 Heats of 25 min with 4 surfers, the winners of each heat will move to the final, the losers are eliminated. After round 3 a short 20 min break will take place. After the break the final will start consisting of 1 x 25 min heat with 2 surfers, best scoring wave wins the event.
